Emmanuel Ibukun Efuntayo is a seasoned Estate Surveyor and Valuer of repute practicing in Nigeria under the style and name Ibukun Efuntayo and company. He is the principal partner and the the CEO of the firm. Ibukun Efuntayo and company specializes in property management, facility management, property taxation and valuation services. Mr Efuntayo is a fellow (fnivs) of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV) and a facility management professional (fmp) of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA, USA). Before going into private practice he has worked with Nigerian National petroleum Corporation and Eko international Bank (now Polaris Bank). Emmanuel Efuntayo received his early education in Estate Management from the Polytechnic Ibadan, Oyo State. He was part of the pioneer group in Estate Management of the institution.
He obtained an Higher National Diploma (HND) in Estate Management from the Polytechnic in 1982. He later pursued a degree program in Management and Law from Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) in 2003. He obtained a postgraduate diploma in Management from Liverpool University in 2014. Emmanuel Efuntayo attended the prestigious Lagos Business School (LBS) and was part of the Chief Executive Program (CEP 21). Mr Efuntayo has attended many conferences and has presented papers at a few of them.
He is currently the chairman of the Property, Construction and Infrastructure group of the Nigerian American of Chamber of Commerce (NACC). He was once the National Treasurer and currently serving on the board of the chamber. Emmanuel Efuntayo is a member of the Rotary club of Ikoyi and was once the Honorary Treasurer. He is currently serving as the chairman of the Environment Group of the club. Mr. Efuntayo is an active member of the Lagos Branch of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers and he is presently a member the branch’s Inter-Governmental subcommittee.
Emmanuel Efuntayo is the Vice President of the Association of Capital Market Valuers (an association of Estate Surveyors and Valuers with registration with Security and Exchange Commission of Nigeria). Emmanuel Efuntayo once served as a member of the Osun Urban Renewal Group with specific oversight responsibility for Ikirun. He has just been nominated to represent the State of Osun on the board of Wemabod Estates Limited ( a subsidiary of Odua Group). He is currently the chairman of Ocean and Land Insurance Brokers.Emmanuel Efuntayo sits on the boards of Werkmeister Facility Managers, Agenteur Property Development and Management International Ltd and Valustrat Nigeria Plc. Emmanuel Efuntayo is widely travelled and he is happily married with kids
